What does 'community' mean to you:

“A broader community means having people I can connect with and depend upon, like neighbors and a broader network of friends. Then there is a tighter community of the people I can open up to and share ideas with, such as a learning community.”

Why is having a soul tribe important:

“I have a few different soul tribes. The one I feel most connected with is my tribe of siblings (6 of them), next would be my close girlfriends who have known me since childhood. I also have a soul tribe that consists of a few people that share my interests in the field of Positive Psychology. Having children has expanded my soul tribe exponentially! The mothers whom I have learned from, supported, been supported by, laughed and cried with are invaluable and have made my life better.”

What words of advice do you have for women seeking out deeper community and connection:

“Go out and find it. Follow your passion and be willing to share your ideas. Don't be afraid to be vulnerable. Ask someone you connect with to go grab a coffee or take a walk. Remember that everyone is looking to connect.”

What are your thoughts when it comes to personal growth:

“It gets better with age. So many times I wish I knew then what I know now, but  it's a journey and I wouldn't be where I am now if I knew things back then!”

If you could give your younger self one piece of advice what would it be:

“It's not selfish to take care of yourself. Things are better and life is easier when you are in community with others. ”

What do you love about being a woman:

“Everything. But if I had to pick one thing it would be my intuition and of course having my girlfriends. Never stop growing. Mindset determines most outcomes in life. There are things you can do (that are available to everyone) to increase your happiness in life.”
